The long title for the Bill for this Act was "A Bill to ratify, validate, approve and otherwise give effect to an agreement with Bowater-Scott Limited and for other purposes.".
The Forests (Bowater-Scott Agreement) Act 1986 was assented to on 6 November 1986 and came into operation on 6 November 1986.
