Written document of complaints handling procedure

50. Written document of complaints handling procedure



(1) A funeral provider must set out the complaints handling procedure referred
to in section 49 in a written document which complies with subsection (2).

Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(2) The written document referred to in subsection (1) must include the
following information-

   (a)  the name or position title of the person or persons to whom a customer
        may give notice of a complaint;

   (b)  the contact details for the person or persons referred to in paragraph
        (a);

   (c)  the times and places at which notice of a complaint may be given,
        which must not unreasonably restrict the ability of customers to give
        that notice;

   (d)  details of the complaints handling procedure.
