PART 7 COMPLAINTS HANDLING

Procedure for dealing with complaints

49. Procedure for dealing with complaints



(1) A funeral provider must establish and maintain a procedure for dealing
with customer complaints which complies with this section.

Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(2) A complaints handling procedure under subsection (1) must-

   (a)  subject to paragraph (b), be in accordance with any guidelines issued
        by the Director under section 52(1) (if any); or

   (b)  be in accordance with the prescribed complaints handling procedure (if
        any).
