18. Changes to information in register



(1) The Director may write to a funeral provider who is a party to a pre-paid
funeral contract and request that the funeral provider-

   (a)  confirm that the details recorded on the register of pre-paid funeral
        contracts are correct; or

   (b)  if the details recorded on the register of pre-paid funeral contracts
        are not correct, notify the Director of any change that is required to
        those details.





(2) Within 28 days of receiving a request under subsection (1), a funeral
provider must respond to the request by-

   (a)  confirming that the details recorded on the register of pre-paid
        funeral contracts are correct; or

   (b)  if the details recorded on the register of pre-paid funeral contracts
        are not correct, notifying the Director of any change that is required
        to those details.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(3) The Director may at any time amend, vary or remove an entry in the
register of pre-paid funeral contracts.
