Requirement to provide information to Director

16. Requirement to provide information to Director



(1) A funeral provider must provide the Director, in accordance with the
regulations, with the prescribed information relating to pre-paid funeral
contracts.

Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), the prescribed information may include
all or any of the following-

   (a)  information in relation to a prescribed class of pre-paid funeral
        contract;

   (b)  information in relation to pre-paid funeral contracts that have been
        terminated or fulfilled;

   (c)  information or reports in relation to pre-paid funeral contracts
        entered into-

   (i)  with a particular person; or

   (ii) before or after a particular date specified by the Director; or

   (iii) during a specified period or periods.
