Substitution of party to agreement

47. Substitution of party to agreement

If, under section 46, the rights and liabilities of the Corporation under an
agreement vest in, or become liabilities of, a new body-

   (a)  the new body becomes, on the succession day, a party to the agreement
        in place of the Corporation; and

   (b)  on and after the succession day, the agreement has effect as if the
        new body had always been a party to the agreement.
