Definitions

3. Definitions

In this Act-

ACMI means the Australian Centre for the Moving Image established by section
21;

film in section 4 and in Part 2, means a recording in or on material of any
kind (whether invented at the commencement of this section or not) from which
moving images, with or without associated sounds, may be produced;

Film Victoria means the body established by section 5;

moving image in Part 3, means any image created in a film, video, digital or
other media format, being an image that alters with time and that is able to
be displayed on a screen.
