Conflict of interest to be avoided

19S. Conflict of interest to be avoided



(1) A person must not conduct a food safety program audit of a food safety
program that the person has written or that the person has assisted in
preparing.

Penalty: 20 penalty units for a first offence and 40 penalty units for a
second or subsequent offence.





(2) A person must not conduct a food safety program audit of the food safety
program of a premises if the person is the proprietor, or an employee or
officer of the proprietor, of the premises.

Penalty: 20 penalty units for a first offence and 40 penalty units for a
second or subsequent offence.

(3) A person must not conduct a food safety program audit of a food safety
program as an employee of another person if any other employee of that other
person has written, or has assisted in preparing, that program.

Penalty: 20 penalty units for a first offence and 40 penalty units for a
second or subsequent offence.
