Food Act 1984 - SECT 19GA

Declared premises must have food safety supervisor

19GA. Declared premises must have food safety supervisor



(1) The proprietor of a food business must, in relation to any declared
premises used in connection with the business, ensure that there is a food
safety supervisor for the premises.

(2) The food safety supervisor for a premises may be the proprietor of the
premises.

(3) A failure to comply with this section is a ground for-

   (a)  the refusal of the registration, renewal of registration or transfer
        of registration of the food premises;

   (b)  the revocation or suspension of registration of the food premises.
