19C. Declaration that this Part applies to premises









(1) The Secretary may, by notice published in the Government Gazette, declare
that food premises of a particular class are to have food safety programs.

(2) In making a declaration, the Secretary must specify that the declaration
is to take effect on a specified date on or after the making of the
declaration.

(3) The registration authority must not register, renew the registration or
grant the transfer of registration of any premises on or after the date it
becomes a declared premises unless it is satisfied that a food safety program
exists for the premises.
