Forfeiture to Crown

95I. Forfeiture to Crown



(1) An item seized under section 95F that is not returned to the person from
whom it was seized within 12 months after being so seized is forfeited to the
Crown.

(2) If any seized item is forfeited to the Crown under subsection (1)-

   (a)  the Minister may direct that it be disposed of in any manner that the
        Minister thinks fit; and

   (b)  if it is sold, the proceeds of the sale must be paid into the
        Consolidated Fund.
