Secretary may carry out clearing and preventive burning

68. Secretary may carry out clearing and preventive burning

Where a person fails to carry out any clearing or preventive burning as and
within the period (if any) required by the regulations-

   (a)  he shall be guilty of an offence against this Act; and

   (b)  the Secretary may carry out any of the required clearing and
        preventive burning and recover from him in any court of competent
        jurisdiction the cost thereof.
