6. Minister or Secretary not to control mining

Apart from section 7, nothing in this Act shall be construed as giving to the
Minister for the time being administering the
Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987 or the Secretary or any authorised
officer any powers duties or authorities with regard to doing work as defined
in the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990.
