telecommunications services and other communications services by the
establishment of an authority and other related matters and for other
purposes." The Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority Act 2004 was
assented to on 14 December 2004 and came into operation as follows: Sections 1
to 44 on 1 July 2005: Government Gazette 9 June 2005 page 1175; section 45 not
yet proclaimed. 2. Table of Amendments This Version incorporates amendments
made to the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority Act 2004 by Acts
