Meetings

26. Meetings



(1) The chairperson of the advisory committee must preside at a meeting of the
advisory committee that he or she attends.

(2) If the chairperson is unable to attend a meeting of the advisory
committee, the Authority may nominate a person to act in the chairperson's
place and preside at the meeting.

(3) A person nominated to act as chairperson under subsection (2) has and may
exercise all the powers and must perform all the duties of chairperson and is
deemed to be a member of the advisory committee for the period for which the
person is so appointed to act.

(4) Except as otherwise provided in this Division or in the regulations, the
procedure of the advisory committee is in the discretion of the advisory
committee.
