Directions of the Minister

20. Directions of the Minister



(1) The Authority is subject to the general direction and control of the
Minister in the performance of its functions and the exercise of its powers.

(2) The Minister may give directions in writing to the Authority in relation
to the performance of any of its functions or the exercise of any of its
powers.

(3) The Minister must not give a direction under subsection (1) that affects
the operations of an
emergency services and other related services organisation unless the Minister
has first consulted the Minister responsible for administering that
organisation.





(4) A copy of each direction must be included in the Authority's report of
operations for a financial year under Part 7 of the
Financial Management Act 1994.
