Removal and resignation

11. Removal and resignation



(1) A member may resign by writing signed by that person and delivered to the
Governor in Council.

(2) The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, may remove
a member, or all members, from office.

(3) The Minister must recommend the removal of a member if the Minister is
satisfied that the member-

   (a)  has been absent, without the approval of the Authority, from 3
        consecutive meetings of the Authority; or

   (b)  has been convicted or found guilty of an indictable offence or of an
        offence which, if committed in Victoria, would be an indictable
        offence; or

   (c)  is an insolvent under administration within the meaning of the
        Corporations Act.
