Other regulatory powers

34. Other regulatory powers



(1) The Commission may exercise such powers (including the power to make
determinations) for or with respect to-

   (a)  standards and conditions of service and supply;

   (b)  licensing;

   (c)  market conduct;

   (d)  other economic regulatory matters-

as may be conferred on the Commission by the empowering instrument.

(2) In making a determination or other regulatory decision under this section,
the Commission must have regard to-

   (a)  any factors specified in the empowering instrument; and

   (b)  any other factors that the Commission considers relevant.

(3) This section is subject to anything to the contrary in the empowering
instrument.
