Equipment Advisory Committee

50. Equipment Advisory Committee



(1) There shall be an Equipment Advisory Committee consisting of a chairperson
and 6 other persons appointed by the Minister.

(2) In making appointments to the Committee, the Minister must so far as
possible ensure that expertise in each of the following is represented on the
Committee-

   (a)  electricity distribution and supply;

   (b)  the manufacture of electrical equipment;

   (c)  the installation of electrical equipment;

   (d)  the testing of electrical equipment;

   (e)  consumer safety as regards electrical equipment.
