ELECTRICITY SAFETY ACT 1998 - SECT 144
Offence not to comply with improvement notice(1) A person to whom an improvement notice is issued must comply with the improvement notice.
Penalty: in the case of a natural person, 80 penalty units;
in the case of a body corporate, 400 penalty units.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply during any period that the operation of the improvement notice is stayed by the Tribunal.
