Consideration of application

100. Consideration of application





(1) Energy Safe Victoria must publish a notice in a daily newspaper
circulating generally in Victoria-



   (a)  specifying that an application for acceptance as an electricity safety
        manager has been lodged with Energy Safe Victoria by the person
        specified in the notice; and

   (b)  setting out the relevant functions of Energy Safe Victoria for which
        acceptance is sought; and



   (c)  inviting interested persons to make submissions to Energy Safe
        Victoria in respect of the application within the period and in the
        manner specified in the notice.

(2) Subject to this Division and any requirements specified in the regulations
made for the purposes of this section, Energy Safe Victoria may determine the
procedures that are to apply in respect of the recommendation of a person for
acceptance as an electricity safety manager.
