Identity cards

12A. Identity cards



(1) The Authority must issue an identity card to each inspector appointed
under section 12 containing a photograph of the inspector and his or her
signature.

(2) An inspector must produce his or her identity card for inspection if asked
to do so when performing a function or exercising a power under this Act or
the regulations.

(3) If a person to whom an identity card has been issued ceases to be an
inspector, the person must return the identity card to the Authority as soon
as is practicable.
