ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT 2017 - SECT 245
Authority may appoint analysts and prescribed roles(1) The Authority may appoint as an analyst, for the purposes specified in the instrument of appointment, any natural person or class of natural person.
(2) The Authority may appoint as the holder of a prescribed role, for the purposes specified in the instrument of appointment, any person or class of person.
(3) The Authority may, in an instrument of appointment under subsection (1) or (2)—
(a) specify the term of the appointment; and
(b) impose conditions on the appointment.
(4) The Authority may suspend, vary or revoke an appointment under subsection (1) or (2).
(5) The Authority must not appoint a person under
subsection (1) or (2) unless the person has paid any prescribed fee.
