Members of the Board

9. Members of the Board



(1) The Board consists of 3 people appointed by the Governor in Council on the
recommendation of the Minister who, in the opinion of the Minister, have
skills, experience or knowledge that will assist the Board to carry out its
functions.

(2) The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, must
appoint one of the people appointed under subsection (1) to be the President
of the Board.

(3) An act or decision of the Board is not invalid by reason only of vacancies
in the membership of the Board or of defects in the appointment of the members
of the Board.
