Submission of directed proposal

19AG. Submission of directed proposal



(1) After consultation with a protection agency, the Authority may by notice
in writing direct the protection agency to submit within a specified period a
proposal to develop a neighbourhood environment improvement plan to the
Authority for endorsement if-

   (a)  a statement of environmental audit has been issued stating that the
        beneficial uses of a segment of the environment are not being
        protected; and

   (b)  the Authority is of the opinion that the applicable intervention
        criteria are met.

(2) A protection agency must, if so directed by the Authority, submit in the
form and manner specified in guidelines issued by the Authority a proposal to
develop a neighbourhood environment improvement plan to the Authority for
endorsement.
