6. Responsibility of State Emergency Response Coordinator

The State Emergency Response Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the
Minister is provided with timely and up to date information in relation to-

   (a)  the actual or imminent occurrence of events which may lead to
        emergencies;

   (b)  the response to emergencies.
