6. Role of Co-ordinator in Chief

The role of the Co-ordinator in Chief is to-

   (a)  ensure that adequate emergency management measures are taken by
        government agencies; and

   (b)  co-ordinate the activities of government agencies carrying out their
        statutory functions, powers, duties and responsibilities in taking
        such measures.
