Transfer of a work authority

23. Transfer of a work authority



(1) The holder of a work authority may, with the consent in writing of the
Minister, transfer that work authority to another person.

(2) The Minister must consent to the transfer of a work authority if-

   (a)  the person to whom the work authority is to be transferred has entered
        into a rehabilitation bond for an amount determined by the Minister;
        and

   (b)  the Minister is satisfied that the work plan relating to the work
        authority is adequate.

(3) If the Minister is not satisfied that the work plan relating to the work
authority is adequate, the Minister may consent to the transfer of the work
authority subject to the person to whom the work authority is to be
transferred being required to submit a new work plan for approval by the
Department Head within the time specified by the Minister.
