12. Powers in relation to price regulation



(1) For the purposes of Part 3 of the Essential Services Commission Act 2001-

   (b)  the power to regulate prescribed prices in respect of prescribed goods
        and services is conferred on the Commission in respect of the
        following-

   (i)  charges for connection to, and the use of, any distribution system;

   (iii) tariffs for the sale of electricity regulated by Order under section
        13, to the extent specified in such an Order.
