Amendment of Act

22. Amendment of Act

The Board of Management shall not seek or take action towards the amendment of
this Act without a two-thirds majority decision of the Board and without first
having obtained the approval of the Synod or its Standing Committee to the
proposed amendment. ---------------

1. General Information The Epworth Hospital Act 1980 was assented to on 20 May
1980 and came into operation 25 June 1980: Government Gazette 25 June 1980
page 2122. The name of this Act was changed from the Epworth Hospital Act 1980
to the Epworth Foundation Act 1980 by section 5 of No. 97/1997. 2. Table of
