EDUCATION AND TRAINING REFORM ACT 2006 - SECT 3.2.12
Award of degrees or diplomas(1) The Governor in Council may by Order published in the Government Gazette confer on the council of a post-secondary education institution incorporated under section 3.2.11 the power to award a degree or diploma specified in the Order.
(2) The Governor in Council may in an Order or
further Order make the power to award a specified degree or diploma subject to
any terms and conditions that the Governor in Council thinks fit or remove or
vary any term or condition to which the power is subject or impose additional
terms and conditions on the exercise of the power.
