EDUCATION AND TRAINING REFORM ACT 2006 - SECT 2.4.32
Retirement through ill-health—long service leave(1) The Secretary may, on application under subsection (2), direct that, for the purposes of section 2.4.25, an on-going employee who ceases to be an on-going employee on account of ill‑health shall be deemed to have retired on account of ill-health.
(2) An on-going employee may apply for a direction under subsection (1) by producing to the Secretary satisfactory evidence that the on-going employee ceasing to be an on-going employee is due to ill‑health which is likely to be permanent.
