Determination of objection
41. Determination of objection
(1) The Commission must determine the objection-
(a) as soon as practicable after-
(i) receiving the answer of the person objected to; and
(ii) making any further enquiries that appear necessary to the Commission
in relation to matters contained in the answer; or
(b) if no answer is received within a period of 20 days after the posting
of the notice, then immediately after the expiration of that period.
(2) If it appears to the Commission that the person objected to is not
entitled to be enrolled at the address in respect of which the objection has
been made, the Commission must remove the person's name from the register of
electors.
