Voting offences

150. Voting offences



(1) A person must not in respect of an election-

   (a)  vote in the name of another person (including a dead or fictitious
        person); or

   (b)  vote more than once; or

   (c)  apply for a ballot-paper in the name of another person.

(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an indictable
offence.

Penalty: Level 6 imprisonment (5 years maximum) or level 6 fine (600 penalty
units).
