Evidence Act 1958 - SECT 9P
Offence
9P. Offence
If any person, in giving any testimony (either orally or in writing) otherwise
than on oath, where required to do so by an order under section 9N, makes a
statement-
(a) which the person knows to be false in a material particular; or
(b) which is false in a material particular and which the person does not
believe to be true-
the person is guilty of an offence. Penalty: imprisonment for 5 years.
