Communications to husband or wife privileged

27. Communications to husband or wife privileged



(1) No husband shall be compellable to disclose any communication made to him
by his wife during the marriage; and no wife shall be compellable to disclose
any communication made to her by her husband during the marriage.

(2) Nothing in subsection (1) shall apply to any criminal proceeding or to any
proceeding for the grant, variation or revocation of bail.
