Notice of intention to vacate by resident

80. Notice of intention to vacate by resident



(1) A resident may give a notice of intention to vacate to the disability
service provider at any time.

(2) A notice of intention to vacate must-

   (a)  be given in writing;

   (b)  specify the date on which the resident intends to vacate their room.

(3) A notice of intention to vacate may be given in writing on behalf of the
resident by the resident's guardian or resident's administrator, if any.

(4) The disability service provider must notify the Secretary of the details
of a notice of intention to vacate within 24 hours of the notice of intention
to vacate being received by the disability service provider.
