DISABILITY ACT 2006 - SECT 18
Provision of staff and contractors(1) There may be employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004 any employees that are necessary to assist the Disability Services Commissioner in the performance of his or her powers, duties and functions under this Act.
(2) The Disability Services Commissioner may enter into agreements or arrangements with a person or body for the purpose of obtaining appropriate expertise to assist the Disability Services Commissioner in the performance of functions and the exercise of powers under this Act.
