Power of Secretary to enter into contracts

10. Power of Secretary to enter into contracts



(1) Without limiting the powers conferred on the Secretary whether under this
or any other Act, the Secretary may enter into a contract with a person for
the provision of services of any type to persons with a disability.

(2) A contract under this section-

   (a)  remains in force for the period (not exceeding 3 years) specified in
        the contract;

   (b)  may contain any conditions, requirements or other provisions that are
        not inconsistent with this Act.
