PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purpose

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to enact a new legislative scheme for persons with
a disability which reaffirms and strengthens their rights and responsibilities
and which is based on the recognition that this requires support across the
government sector and within the community.
