DUTIES ACT 2000 - SECT 63A

S. 63A(1) amended by Nos 36/2005 s. 12, 38/2006 s. 4.

    (1)     Nothing in this Division applies to a transfer to an eligible first home owner of an estate in fee simple in land if the contract for the commencement date of the eligible transaction is made on or after 1 May 2004 and before 1 January 2006.

    (2)     Despite subsection (1), if an eligible first home owner referred to in that subsection would, but for that subsection, be entitled to an exemption or concession under this Division, section 167 applies to the home owner as if he or she were so entitled.
