Notice to carer of allegation

84. Notice to carer of allegation

The Secretary must, without delay after receiving a report under section 81 or
82, advise the person about whom the allegation is made-

   (a)  that a report has been made; and

   (b)  the nature of the allegation; and

   (c)  that the Secretary-

   (i)  will consider the report and decide whether an independent
        investigation of the allegation is warranted; or

   (ii) has considered the report and decided that no investigation is
        warranted.
