Establishment of Youth Residential Board

431. Establishment of Youth Residential Board



(1) There continues to be a Board called the Youth Residential Board.



(2) The Board consists of-

   (a)  a judge of the County Court appointed by the Governor in Council on
        the nomination of the Attorney-General, who is to be the chairperson;
        and

   (b)  the Secretary or an officer appointed by the Governor in Council on
        the nomination of the Secretary; and

   (c)  two other persons appointed by the Governor in Council, both of whom
        must have experience in matters relating to child welfare and at least
        one of whom must be a woman.

(3) A member of the Youth Parole Board may be appointed as a member of the
Youth Residential Board.
