CHILD WELLBEING AND SAFETY ACT 2005 - SECT 19

    (1)     An entity referred to in Schedule 1 must comply with the Child Safe Standards unless—

        (a)     the entity is exempt under section 22; or

        (b)     the regulations provide that the entity is exempt from this requirement.

    (3)     Regulations made for the purposes of subsection (1)(b) may prescribe—

        (a)     a class of entity referred to in Schedule 1 that is to be exempt from the requirement to comply with the Child Safe Standards; or

S. 19(3)(b) amended by Nos 4/2018 s. 9(b), 23/2021 s. 8(4)(c).

        (b)     an entity referred to in Schedule 1 (other than an individual) that is to be exempt from that requirement.
