Functions of the Council

10. Functions of the Council



(1) The functions of the Council are to provide the Premier and the Minister
with independent and expert advice relating to policies and services that
enhance the health, wellbeing, development and safety of children.

(2) The Secretary must make available to the Council the services of any
employees in the Department that are necessary to enable the Council to carry
out its functions.
