Crimes (Criminal Trials) Act 1999 - SECT 26

Costs order

26. Costs order

If the court determines that costs should be paid, the order must provide-

   (a)  if the court is satisfied that a party or a party's legal practitioner
        has reasonably incurred additional costs as a consequence of any act
        or omission of another party, for payment of costs to the
        first-mentioned party or that party's legal practitioner;

   (b)  in any other case, for payment of costs into court for payment into
        the Consolidated Fund.
