Power to extend time

22. Power to extend time



(1) On the application of a party or of its own motion, the court may extend
or abridge any time fixed by or under this Act or by any order extending or
abridging time made under this section if it is of the opinion that it is in
the interests of justice to do so.

(2) The court may extend time under subsection (1) before or after the time
expires and whether or not any application is made before the time expires.
