Register of family day carers

53A. Register of family day carers



(1) The Secretary must keep a register of each family day carer engaged by a
family day care service.

(2) The purpose of the register is to assist the Secretary in monitoring and
investigating complaints about family day carers.

(3) The register must contain the prescribed information in respect of each
family day carer.

(4) The register may only be inspected by the Secretary or an authorised
officer.
