Service of documents

49. Service of documents

A notice, order or other document under this Act authorised or required by
this Act to be served on or given to a person is to be taken to be served on
or given to that person-

   (a)  if a true copy of the document is delivered to him or her personally;
        or

   (b)  if a true copy of the document is left at his or her last known or
        usual place of residence or of business with a person who apparently
        resides or works there and who apparently is over the age of 16 years;
        or

   (c)  by sending by post a true copy of the document addressed to that
        person at that person's last known place of residence or business.
