CHILDREN'S SERVICES ACT 1996 - SECT 28
Suspension without show cause notice(1) The Regulatory Authority may suspend the provider approval on a ground referred to in section 25 without giving the approved provider a show cause notice under section 26 if the Regulatory Authority is satisfied that there is an immediate risk to the safety, health or wellbeing of a child or children being educated and cared for by a children's service operated by the provider.
(2) The suspension may not be for a period of more than 6 months.
