PART 3 REGISTRATION

13. Application of Part



(1) The goods which are registrable goods are-



   (a)  motor vehicles within the meaning of the Road Safety Act 1986 that are
        or have been registered or eligible for registration under that Act or
        that are written-off vehicles within the meaning of that Act; and

   (b)  trailers within the meaning of the Road Safety Act 1986 that are or
        have been registered or eligible for registration under that Act or
        that are written-off vehicles within the meaning of that Act; and

   (ba) agricultural machines and agricultural implements; and



   (c)  motor vehicles and trailers within the meaning of the
        Interstate Road Transport Act 1985 of the Commonwealth as amended and
        in force for the time being, being vehicles and trailers that are
        registered in Victoria under that Act;

   (d)  if an order is made under subsection (2), on and after the date
        specified in that order, vessels within the meaning of the
        Marine Act 1988 which have engines and do not exceed 20 metres in
        length, being vessels that are, or have been, registered under that
        Act; and

   (e)  prescribed goods.

(2) The Governor in Council may by Order published in the Government Gazette
declare that on and after a date specified in the Order, this Part applies to
vessels within the meaning of the Marine Act 1988 which have engines and do
not exceed 20 metres in length.
